Community Projects
The first community project seen on the left is a reading display board for the local elementary school that my mother works at. My mom and a few other teachers in her classroom teach dual immersion, helping students that struggle with learning both English and Spanish. As a result they use these reading boards where they can put letters in pockets and rearrange them to make different words or letter groupings, but these boards can be be expensive and would have to be paid for by the teachers. As a result, I made 3 of these display stands out of PVC pipe for a fraction of the price.
The second project seen above was also made out of PVC pipe and was a set of water polo goals for my local swim team. Large water polo goals were hard to find for cheap so I designed and made two that could be either floated on kick boards or placed on the edge of the pool.
